WHO IS MACHINE ALLEY?
Our Story
Machine Alley is a unique workshop and social space designed to bring together Melbourne’s motorcycle community.
Whether you’re keen to take on a full custom bike project or you’re just looking for a good crew of peeps to ride with on a Sunday, Machine Alley is here for you.
It’s a place where you can collaborate with others, learn new skills, service your daily ride, build the bike of your dreams, meet for a cruise, and basically hang out with like-minded people who all share your passion for bikes.
MEET THE FOUNDERS
A community built on greasy hands & good vibes.
Machine Alley was founded by seven friends who shared a passion for riding and wrenching on motorcycles. We come from a range of backgrounds, bringing a variety of moto and non-moto related skills to the workshop.
You'll always find one of us volunteering at the workshop, wrenching on bikes, or helping members work on their projects.

We offer a fully equipped workshop space that’s kitted out with every tool you can imagine. From quality hand tools to the latest 18v cordless drills and angle grinders. But it doesn’t end there. We’ve got MIG and TIG welders, drill presses, cutting saws, air compressor & air tools. And if you don’t know how to use them. That’s perfectly fine because we hold regular training courses and events to help you progress.
When you’re done with the tools, you’re free to chill out in our social area, enjoy a coffee, bounce your build ideas off the team and generally share the good times.

A big part of Machine Alley is about connecting members with others who have specialist knowledge and expertise, so you’re never left with a problem you can’t solve. And we hold regular BBQs and events so members can get to know each other better. The community at Machine Alley is what it’s all about and we’d love you to be a part of it.
So come on down and say hi.
