The Safer Motorcycling Grant Program

DTP logo_supported by_Black-300px.jpg

The Machine Alley Motorcycle Maintenance Training and Safety Equipment Education Program is funded by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning through the Safer Motorcycling Grants Program (SMGP).

Our SMGP courses and events focus on educating new and existing riders on the importance of pre-ride motorcycle safety checks, regular maintenance, and a better understanding of the safety ratings for helmets, armour, and clothing.

Machine Alley firmly believes that a well-serviced and maintained motorcycle is less likely to be in an accident, is more capable of avoiding road hazards, and will perform better during adverse weather and road conditions.

All SMGP events are free to the public.
